Job Description (2): | Responsible for managing and operating the equipment and processes at a sewage treatment plant to ensure that wastewater is treated effectively and safely before it is discharged back into the environment. Monitoring the various treatment processes at the plant, including screening, sedimentation, filtration, and disinfection, and making necessary adjustments to ensure that the wastewater is treated effectively. Maintenance and repair of equipment at the plant, such as pumps, valves, and filters, to ensure that they are functioning properly and that the treatment processes are running smoothly. 3. Sampling and testing: Collecting samples of wastewater at different stages of the treatment process and performing tests to determine the quality of the treated water and ensure that it meets regulatory standards. 4.
