Job Description
SUMMARY
This role will be responsible for accurate transfer of data from the estimating softwar to our ERP software ensuring all costing and selling prices line up between the two software platforms. Ensuring theat material is ordered, fabricated and delivered to the customer based on project timelines. Also responsible for accurate reporting through the ERP system as well as closing out contracts at the end of projects.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Estimate costs of isntalling equipment
- Estimate or quote prices, credit or contract terms, trade in allowances, warranties and delivery dates
- Oversee the prparation of sales orders
- Prepare sales or other contracts
- Red blueprints to determine dimensions of structure or system and material requirements
- Conduct sales transactions
- Estimate or quote prices, credit or contract terms, warranties and delivery dates
- Provide input into product design where goods or services must be tailored to suit clients needs
- Reach out to clients after sale or signed contracts to provide ongoing support
- Review and adapt information regarding product innovations, competitors and market conditions
- Resolve product and service related problems
- Troubleshoot problems related to equipment
- Provide customer service
- Monitor inventory levels of issued materials and stocks
- Select and purchase equipment and supplies
- Read and interpret blueprints/sketches/specifications
EDUCATION
College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a related program of 1 to 2 years; or
Architectural technology/technician certificate
EXPERIENCE
Related experience including experience reading architectural drawings and performing estimates, and experience providing customer service at a similar level.
COMPUTER/TECHNOLOGY KNOWLEDGE
Microsoft Office, Database Management, Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software, Architectural drafting systems
