Job Duties:
· Install and fit structures such as windows, doors, staircases, trim, and hardware.
· Repair or replace damaged frameworks and structures as needed.
· Prepare layouts according to building codes using measuring tools.
· Measure, cut, shape, and assemble materials like wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials.
· Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems.
· Maintain, repair, and renovate wooden structures and residential frameworks.
· Construct and assemble wood, metal, or concrete forms based on project specifications.
· Collaborate with construction team members to ensure timely project completion.
· Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized worksite.
Working Conditions:
· Work in wet, damp, strong odours, dust, cold environments, outdoors, noisy.
· Heavy workloads, stand, bend, crouch, and kneel.
· Repetitive task.
· Job is physically demanding, ability to lift 50 lbs or more.
