We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Site Coordinator to support daily operations on a large, fast‑paced construction site. This role is critical to ensuring the smooth coordination of people, materials, equipment, and documentation. The Site Coordinator also oversees all shipping and receiving activities on-site, ensuring accuracy, safety, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Site Coordination

  • Serve as the main point of contact for site logistics, communication, and coordination.
  • Support the Site Superintendent in organizing daily activities, tracking progress, and communicating schedules.
  • Coordinate subcontractors, deliveries, inspections, and site access requirements.
  • Maintain site documentation including daily logs, safety reports, sign‑in sheets, and permits.
  • Assist with tracking project milestones, material usage, and site resources.
  • Support site safety initiatives, including ensuring PPE compliance and participating in toolbox meetings.
  • Maintain cleanliness, order, and organization of site facilities, laydown areas, and storage zones.

Shipping & Receiving

  • Manage all incoming and outgoing deliveries, ensuring proper documentation and verification of materials.
  • Inspect shipments for accuracy, completeness, and quality.
  • Maintain organized and up‑to‑date inventory records.
  • Coordinate delivery scheduling with suppliers, vendors, and subcontractors.
  • Ensure materials are stored safely, correctly, and in accordance with site requirements.
  • Track and report any damaged or missing items; initiate return or replacement processes when needed.
  • Collaborate with procurement and project teams to anticipate material needs.

    Preferred Qualifications

    Qualifications & Experience

    • Previous experience in construction site coordination, logistics, or a related field.
    • Strong understanding of construction processes, site safety, and material handling.
    • Excellent communication, organization, and problem‑solving skills.
    • Ability to multitask in a dynamic environment with shifting priorities.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office. Procore experience considered an asset.
    • Valid driver’s license
    • Ability to lift materials and navigate active construction sites as required.
