We are currently seeking an energetic and reliable employee to join us as a full-time Shop Foreperson. The position will require a detail oriented, self-starter with an ability to work independently and as a part of our team. T
Skills & Experience (required)
·10 years Fabrication experience on Structural & miscellaneous metals
· Journeyman Fabrication ticket
. Experience with ERP system
· Welding Supervisor ticket
· Active CWB tickets MCAW/FCAW
· Aluminum and Stainless experience
· Reliable transportation and valid BC Driver’s License REQUIRED.
· Flexibility with working overtime and weekends.
Duties and Responsibilities (not limited to the following)
-Work closely with Operations Manager to develop work schedules
-Coordinate daily tasks according to priorities
-Train & mentor employees & resolve conflict when necessary
-Develop & Manage project quality control procedures
-Manage inventory and equipment
-Enforce all health & safety policies n the shop
-Address & resolve customer issues & complaints
-Special projects to improve workflow
