With decades of experience, we take pride in delivering quality craftsmanship to our clients. Our team is growing, and we're looking for dedicated and motivated individuals to join us! Millstone Heating & Sheet Metal is seeking a dedicated and experienced Sheet Metal Foreman to lead a team on one or more of our commercial building projects. This role will oversee one or more projects depening on project size, and individual experience ensuring quality workmanship and adherence to project specifications and deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and manage sheet metal crews on-site, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency in all tasks.
Oversee the installation, of sheet metal components, including ductwork, fans...ect.
Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to ensure proper installation of materials and systems.
Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and other trades to ensure project schedules and deadlines are met.
Monitor work quality and troubleshoot any issues or discrepancies that arise during installations.
Train, mentor, and provide guidance to junior sheet metal workers, fostering a collaborative and safety-conscious work environment.
Maintain inventory of materials, tools, and equipment, ensuring the crew has what is necessary for timely completion.
Ensure that work is performed in accordance with job specifications, safety regulations, and company policies.
Maintain effective communication with supervisors and clients to report progress, challenges, and any required changes.

Preferred Qualifications

Qualifications:

5+ years of experience in the sheet metal trade, with at least 2 years in a leadership role preferred.
Proven experience in commercial building installations.
Strong knowledge of sheet metal fabrication, installation techniques, and HVAC systems.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
Excellent leadership, communication, and team management skills are an asset
Ability to work independently and solve problems on-site.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality work.
Ability to lift heavy materials and work in physically demanding conditions.
