Job Description

Victoria-based waterproofing company is hiring a reliable and respectful labourer. The role will consist of prepping and spraying below-grade areas at commercial and industrial construction sites.

Responsibilities:

Perform various tasks related to the application of coatings and finishes
Prepare surfaces for coating by cleaning, sanding, and masking
Apply coatings using different methods such as spraying, brushing, or rolling-
Ensure proper adhesion and coverage of coatings
Inspect finished products for quality and make any necessary touch-ups or repairs
Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work area

Qualifications:

Effectively Communicate with office, customers and other staff in a respectful manner
Currently lives between Cobble Hill and View Royal
2 + Years Experience in Construction
Preference to experience in Below Grade Waterproofing or Torch on Roofing
Must be able to get to various job-sites in and around Greater Victoria
Ability to speak fluent English
Work from heights
Knowledge of power tools, hand tools, and equipment such as cranes and forklifts
Some Saturday shifts
Mechanically Inclined preferred
Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team
