Job Description

Victoria-based waterproofing company is hiring a reliable and respectful labourer. The role will consist of prepping and spraying below-grade areas at commercial and industrial construction sites.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform various tasks related to the application of coatings and finishes
  • Prepare surfaces for coating by cleaning, sanding, and masking
  • Apply coatings using different methods such as spraying, brushing, or rolling-
  • Ensure proper adhesion and coverage of coatings
  • Inspect finished products for quality and make any necessary touch-ups or repairs
  • Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work area

Qualifications:

  • Effectively Communicate with office, customers and other staff in a respectful manner
  • Currently lives between Cobble Hill and View Royal
  • 2 + Years Experience in Construction
  • Preference to experience in Below Grade Waterproofing or Torch on Roofing
  • Must be able to get to various job-sites in and around Greater Victoria
  • Ability to speak fluent English
  • Work from heights
  • Knowledge of power tools, hand tools, and equipment such as cranes and forklifts
  • Some Saturday shifts
  • Mechanically Inclined preferred
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team

Experience with below-grade waterproofing is a major bonus!
