We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Salesman to join our team at ROGCS Construction Services LTD, a leading construction company specializing in [residential, commercial, industrial, or specific services offered]. As a Salesman, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new sales opportunities, cultivating client relationships, and ensuring the successful delivery of projects from initial contact through to completion.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- **Sales Generation:**
- Develop and execute a sales strategy to achieve company goals and expand market presence.
- Identify new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, and market research.
- Qualify leads, set appointments, and conduct in-person or virtual meetings with potential clients.
- Prepare and present competitive proposals and quotes, working closely with estimating and project teams.
- **Client Relationship Management:**
- Build and maintain strong relationships with current and prospective clients, architects, engineers, contractors, and other key stakeholders in the construction industry.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the sales and project process.
- Understand client needs and recommend construction services and solutions tailored to their requirements.
- **Project Coordination:**
- Work closely with project managers to ensure client expectations are met during construction and post-project completion.
- Track project milestones, budgets, and timelines to ensure smooth execution and client satisfaction.
- **Market Analysis & Reporting:**
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to inform sales strategies.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, forecasts, and client interactions using CRM software.
- Report regularly to senior management on sales performance, opportunities, and challenges.
- **Collaboration:**
- Work with the marketing team to support the creation of promotional materials, presentations, and other sales tools.
- Collaborate with the construction team to ensure smooth transitions from sales to project delivery.
**Qualifications:**
- **Experience:**
- Minimum of 2-3 years of sales experience in the construction industry or a related field (e.g., building materials, equipment sales).
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- **Skills:**
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Ability to understand technical construction terms and processes.
- Proficient in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- **Education:**
- Bachelor’s degree in business, construction management, or a related field (preferred but not required).
- **Other Requirements:**
- Valid driver’s license.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to travel within the region as required.
**Physical Requirements:**
- Ability to visit job sites and engage in occasional physical activities related to site assessment.
- Comfortable working in both office and construction site environments.
