Are you a Project Coordinator with a passion for excavation, shoring, and piling?

At Vallex Construction, located in North Vancouver, BC, we specialize in deep foundation and shoring services. We are proud to be at the forefront of Western Canada construction projects.

We are looking for a key player to join our dynamic and growing team.

Key Responsibilities

Assist the Project Manager in the management of the project

Prepare and coordinate project documentation, including but not limited to: daily site reports, permits, costs reports, extra work orders, and safety reports…

Maintain accurate and up-to-date vendor and subcontractor lists.

Communicate daily with Site Superintendent and foreman and record site activities.

Establish effective on-site communications and progress reporting with subcontractors and clients.

Take initiative to address project needs and resolve issues as they arise.

Preferred Qualifications

Skills and Experience

A technical diploma or relevant university degree in the construction field is preferred.

Minimum of 3 years of experience in the construction, drilling/piling, or shoring industry.

Ability to read and interpret field drawings and plans is a strong asset.

Exceptional communication skills – must be able to confidently and effectively interact with Site Superintendents, Foremen, subcontractors, and clients.

Strong interpersonal skills – a polite yet assertive demeanor with the ability to manage relationships and resolve conflicts professionally.

Proactive and confident personality – not afraid to take initiative, ask questions, or provide feedback in a fast-paced environment.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Strong ability to work under tight deadlines, multitask, and prioritize effectively.
