P5 Millwork & Design Ltd. is a family-owned cabinet and millwork shop with over 30 years of experience in commercial and residential projects. Located in Armstrong, BC, we are known for quality craftsmanship and lasting partnerships with clients and builders.
We are looking for a Production Manager with a passion for craftsmanship and people leadership to guide our cabinet and millwork team. This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll balance production planning, scheduling, quality control, inventory management and team development in a thriving and supportive environment.

Wage: $35.00-$40.00 per hour, permanent full-time
Benefits: Medical, dental, and vision benefits after probationary period (3 months)
Schedule: Compressed work week schedule with every 2nd Friday OFF:
Week 1: Mon - Thu 6:30 AM - 4:00 PM, Fri 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM
Week 2: Mon - Thu 6:30 AM - 4:00 PM, Fri OFF

What you will do
Lead, motivate, and mentor a skilled production team.
Plan daily and weekly schedules to meet project deadlines.
Manage workflow, production reporting, and inventory.
Oversee quality control at all stages of production.
Provide technical expertise in woodworking, CNC operations, and finishing.
Support the training and professional development of team members.
Drive continuous improvement while maintaining a safe, positive shop culture.
Contribute to production when needed.
Other related duties as assigned may also be part of the role.

What we're looking for:
2+ years of leadership experience in cabinetmaking, millwork, or woodworking or equivalent.
Experience in managing a production team of 6+ and overseeing all shop operations.
Strong communication with time management skills.
Proficiency in Excel, Word, Inventory Management and ERP software.
Valid drivers license and ability to lift 50 lbs.
Journeyperson certification or equivalent experience.
