We are a Langley-based Plumbing/Mechanical contractor looking to hire for a 2nd year apprentice plumber position.

2nd Year Role:
· Install various plumbing and mechanical systems for various projects across the lower mainland 40 hours a week.
· Work directly with a Journeyman Plumber and complete the tasks they ask you to do.
· Note taking and execution of those notes
What we do:
We have multiple projects, all different all the time and have secured work well into 2025. We don’t do any multi family residential or high-rise work. You won’t get lost in the sea of large work crews stuck doing the same thing day in and day out either. Everyday/week/month will pose a new challenge to make you a well-rounded plumber.

Skills Required:
- Willing and able to use the following technology:
· Workforce App (time tracking and schedules)
· Fieldwire Software (blueprints and site management)
· Microsoft to do (material/task management)
- not afraid to ask questions
- basic note taking when tasks have been given to you.
- basic reading and interpretation of project drawings and plumbing/mechanical shop drawings
- Polite and have good communication skills to interact with other trades/clients to solve problems and keep schedules on track
- able to work alone with little supervision
- have strong attention to detail/pride in your work is a must!
- solid grasp of the current plumbing code at your level
- strong planning skills to foresee tasks and required materials ahead to stay on schedule and on budget
- good organization and tidy work habits including, daily site clean up, organization, locking up company tools
- strong awareness of on-site safety and have filled out FLRA forms.
Must have the following:
- Commercial, residential experience
- PPE
Examples: hard hat, steel toe boots, high vis vest
- Tools!
- Reliable transportation to and from work
Assets but not requirements:
- Drainage ground work experience
- Hot water heating experience
- Basic electrical wiring skills and troubleshooting
- Basic sheet metal skills
- Live in the Langley/Richmond/Burnaby area (Preferable)
- Scissor/boom lift training
- 1st Aid
- Confined space training
