Job Description

Primary Responsibilities:

Work with experienced technciian to provide assistance on service inspections or system verifications when needed
Assist in all areas of work as required and assigned by the service co-ordinator or dept. managers
Complete repairs and replacement of electronic devices and components
Complete and submit all task related documentation in timely manner
Provide high level of customer service
Ability to travel for work & after hours work as required

Required Qualifications

Valid Class 5 Driver's License & clean Driver's Abstract
Ability to lift up to 40lbs and climb ladders and scaffolding

Preferred Qualifications

Experience programming fire alarm panels (preferably Autocall, Simplex, and Kidde/Vigilant)
Factory training in programming fire alarm systems
Certified through ASTTBC for Fire Alarm Systems (AL)
CFAA Certificate, Red Seal Electrician Ticket, or applicable College degree/diploma
1-3 years experience in the industry
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word)
Electrical/Electronic/Mechanical background an asset
Knowledge of applicable provincial building, fire, ULC, and NFPA codes
