ACE Plumbing and Heating is looking for an experienced Journeyman Plumber to join our busy Service department. We are a family run company with more than 40 years in Okanagan and recognize hard work. The is a permanent, full-time position and we keep all of our employees (now more than 90) busy every day. This is not the type of job where you will be cleaning up crap all day long, we are looking for someone that has experience working with tankless heaters, boilers and hydronic systems, as well as the regular work of a service plumber. Your core duties will include:
- Perform a wide range of plumbing service and maintenance work from minor fixes to complicated issues for residential customers
- Diagnose, quote, install, repair and maintain plumbing equipment and systems in residential settings
- Troubleshoot, maintain and repair tankless water heaters, boilers and hydronic control systems
- Provide exceptional customer service, explaining to customers the issues diagnosed and the path to repair them
- Install gas lines, swing joints and other related gas work
- Install and repair water heaters including gas and electric
- Order materials and equipment for service work
- Install plumbing faucets and fixtures
- Be able to handle the physical requirements of the job: heavy lifting, climbing ladders, working in crawlspaces, etc.
- Complete required paperwork in a legible and timely manner
- Work closely and respectfully with dispatcher
License, Certification and Experience Requirements
· Red Seal Plumbing (required)
· Class B Gas Fitter (required)
· Driver’s License (required)
