Title: Specialized Deficiency Technician (Detailer)
Type: Full Time, Hourly
Wage Range: $27-$32 per hour
Reports to: Operations Supervisor
Description: Reporting to the Field Supervisor, this role requires a keen eye for detail to ensure quality work and excellent organization, as well as exceptional interpersonal skills to work positively with field technicians and operations management.
Responsibilities:
· Ability to handle the deficiencies on site, such as floor and cabinet repairs, bathtub repairs, tile and countertop repairs.
· Understanding and supporting the successful implementation of quality control and safety standard protocols.
· Communicating effectively with higher-level management to ensure that the activities of the organization are running efficiently.
· Ensuring basic tools and machinery are in working order by performing regular inspections.
Skills Required:
· Technical Skills:
-Required: Cabinets, countertops, floors, tiles and bathtubs repairs and scratch removal.
- Experience is an asset: painting, drywall repairs, stone restoration, mullion repairs, bathtub repairs , stainless steel refinishing, spraytex ceilings, damage prevention, quality control, carpentry.
· A self-starter with a willingness to ask questions and find solutions;
· Ability to work independently and in cooperation with the Operations Supervisor
· Effective communication skills;
· Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines;
. Attention to detail skills;
· Tech experience is an asset
· Knowledge of or experience in trades and maintenance work is desired. Minimum 1 year of construction industry experience, preference for deficiency experience
· BC Driver’s Licence is an asset
· Familiarity with SiteMax software is an asset
