Job Description

Reporting to the Service Operations Manager the Scheduler/Dispatcher will fulfill an integral role in coordinating the flow of people and operations to ensure that project deadlines and budgets are met and that our valued clients are satisfied.

The Opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity for a Scheduler/Dispatcher to join our team and play a key role in supporting our construction operations. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys coordinating resources, solving logistical challenges, and keeping projects running smoothly. You’ll be responsible for scheduling and dispatching technicians across multiple job sites, ensuring the right people are in the right place at the right time. Must be highly organized, proactive, and able to communicate effectively with technicians, supervisors, and clients.

Responsibilities

  • Positively and professionally represent Reotech Construction and communicate effectively with the owners, and members of our team.
  • Coordinates daily schedules for Manpower, Service & Trucks based on requests from Site superintendents, project team, and the service department;
  • Communicate with all departments as necessary for scheduling dates, changes, or any other operational issues;
  • Track attendance of all manpower and update the Service Operations Manager, payroll and HR departments with the Daily/Weekly Roll Call Summaries;
  • Track attendance & work order status of all Service Technicians on a daily/weekly basis and update the Service Operations Manager with the Daily Service Summary;
  • Coordinate with the Shop Manager and Accounting Department to update inventory items used from the shop monthly;
  • Update Tracking System (WASP) to enter and track tools, equipment & job boxes;
  • Organize & maintain the OneDrive Folders to supply & track Service Work Orders;
  • Coordinating with the Service Operations Manager to purchase inventory for shops and materials for Work Order's and Truck Requests;
  • Track & maintain fleet complete as needed, including GPS tracking;
  • Attend weekly service meetings to review scheduling requirements for Service Orders and Service Projects;
  • Participate in the onboarding of new team members for the service and operations teams; and
  • Other duties as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Punctual and reliable
  • Service-oriented work ethic with a professional and courteous demeanor
  • Available for a full-time schedule (40 hrs) with the flexibility to work varying hours if needed
  • Command of the English language, both written and verbal
  • Good directional knowledge of the Lower Mainland, specifically the downtown core
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft programs (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
