Job Description

  • Interpret drawings, and project plans to meet building requirements.
  • Measure, cut, and shape wood, plastic, and other materials.
  • Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures such as framing, flooring, doors, windows, cabinetry, and drywall.
  • Inspect and replace damaged framework or other structures and fixtures.
  • Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
  • Follow all company and WorkSafe safety procedures.
  • Work collaboratively with other trades and contractors on site.
  • Maintain tools and equipment in safe and proper working condition.
  • Ensure job site cleanliness and organization.
  • Reports to Site Superintendent.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Must have 5+ years of construction/carpentry experience.
  • Formwork specific experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques and methods of installation and construction.
  • Proficient in using hand and power tools, measuring instruments, and levels.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a carpentry apprenticeship program preferred.
  • Physical stamina and dexterity; ability to lift heavy materials and work in various environments.
  • Attention to detail and a strong commitment to craftsmanship.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (if required).
