Job Description

Kinetic Construction Ltd. has an opportunity within our Vancouver Branch for a BIM/VDC Technologist. Under the direction of the Lean Integration Leader, this position will execute tasks based on established procedures and apply broader knowledge to analyze and solve problems for innovation, research, and development. This position will work closely with the BIM/VDC Specialists to implement and assist in project delivery throughout the design and construction phases.

Preferred Qualifications

Qualifications

Post-Secondary education in Architecture or Engineering is preferred
In depth knowledge of BIM & VDC services, standards, and implementation
5+ years production experience in design, drafting or engineering
1+ year working for a General Contractor

Knowledge skills and abilities

Prior experience in the Construction Industry considered an asset
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to use time productively, maximizing efficiency and meet challenging work goals
Must possess and maintain exceptional work ethic as well as uphold company values and demand the highest standards of conduct from self and others
Must have basic PC experience in Windows environments, working knowledge of word processing, spreadsheets, email, web-enable application, and data base software
Must be self-starter and possess the drive to pursue continued education on BIM & VDC
Posses the ability to work well as part of a team and independently
