The successful candidate will have thorough knowledge of standard work methods, practices, tools and equipment used in the trade, along with considerable knowledge of the principles, functions and operations of HVAC equipment. They will be able to diagnose equipment breakdowns, identify potential issues, and maintain and repair HVAC equipment and related systems. The role requires the ability to coordinate and monitor contractor work, develop and maintain preventive maintenance programs, and monitor and adjust automated control systems. The candidate must be able to read sketches, blueprints, diagrams and specifications; maintain a variety of records; follow oral and written instructions; and perform duties with minimal supervision. Skill in the care and use of tools and testing equipment is also required.
