This individual is responsible for ensuring that every product meets Harbour City Kitchens' quality standards before being wrapped, kitted, and staged for shipment. The role requires a strong eye for detail, thorough understanding of quality requirements, organizational skills, and effective communication with other departments. Responsibilities and Duties Primary Responsibilities Inspect all finished wood and painted components for quality, including finish consistency, cleanliness, and defect-free construction. Ensure all products meet company standards before they are released for shipping. Identify and flag any quality issues or incomplete jobs and communicate with relevant team members to resolve them. Wrap and protect parts for delivery using approved materials and processes to ensure they arrive undamaged. Kit and organize all parts and hardware associated with each job, ensuring completeness and accuracy. Stage jobs in the appropriate area once they have passed QC and are ready for shipping or delivery. Maintain accurate documentation and use barcode scanners or software tools to track job readiness. Work closely with Finishing, Production, and Shipping to meet deadlines and resolve issues quickly. Follow all health and safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe and clean work environment. Ensure all appropriate paperwork is completed and submitted when tracking issues or requesting rework on any parts/jobs. Ensure all product leaving the shop is stamped and initialed “Approved” to confirm it meets HCK’s quality standards. Additional Duties Maintain clean, organized, and labeled kitting and staging areas. Participate in team meetings and contribute to process improvements related to QC and job completeness. Perform minor touch-ups or coordinate rework for rejected parts (if trained and authorized).  https://talentcentral.ca/job-postings/cabinet-maker-joiner-am9iLXBvc3RpbmdzMTEyMQ 3a15c7d0bbe60300a39f76f8a5ba6896 Wed, 10 Jun 2026 16:55:13 +0000 Cabinet Maker CN Architectural Millwork is looking for an experienced Lead Hand Cabinetmaker to join our team!We engage in all spectrums of custom millwork projects, including but not limited to, paneling, retail units, casework, bars, built-ins, furniture, kitchens, and cabinetry.Cabinet Maker will be responsible for:• Reading plans and interpreting shop drawings• Creating accurate take-offs• Leading the build on the project, assisted by junior cabinet makers or helpers• Cutting solid and veneer panel materials on a sliding table saw• Fitting, assembling, and constructing cabinetry• Using a hot melt glue edge bander• Sanding, staining, and applying spray lacquer finishes• Occasional work on job sites for install and touch upRequirements:- 5+ Years’ Experience- Must be able to read and interpret shop drawings- Work well with others- Must be able to communicate in English- Valid driver’s license an assetView some of our projects at: www.cnamac.com.We have a fun, family-like working environment and take pride in our work and finished product.Wages based on experience.
